When I was searching for someone to renovate my 80-year-old kitchen, Brent Voyles was highly recommended to me by a respected local company. As soon as I contacted him, he came to the house, listened carefully to my expectations, took pictures and measurements, and discussed what improvements would be most beneficial. He was willing to retain and upgrade my old cupboards and bins, while suggesting how the counter space and storage could be increased by two new custom-built cabinets. We agreed that a new stove, microwave, sink and dishwasher would be installed (but the refrigerator retained), and the floor would be finished in red oak to match the downstairs hardwood. We discussed the countertop, the back splash and many other details. Brent gave me a precise starting date! In the meantime he ordered the materials and arranged step-by-step how his team could most efficiently effect the desired results.

Starting in mid-October 2023, Brent’s introduced his crew, beginning with his son and partner Sean, a charismatic leader, a very skilled carpenter, and knowledgeable in everything relating to the task in hand. The two other crew members were extremely well trained, totally reliable and willing to oblige in every way. I was later introduced to the two experts who did the painting and the varnishing. Brent also gave me his projected finishing date! “I would like to have it finished by Thanksgiving.” He couldn’t have made a better “guess.” On the day before Thanksgiving, 2023, EVERYTHING was in place and I was able to prepare Thanksgiving dinner in my dream kitchen.
